Donald Maxwell
Senior Advisor
Donald Maxwell has over two decades of experience in business development, asset management, and strategic planning. He has held leadership positions at 24 Asset Management, Executive Asset Management, and Asset Serve Management, where he expanded minority lending practices and built partnerships with major mortgage companies such as Washtenaw Mortgage and Allied Mortgage Group.
Donald spent 12 years at Fannie Mae, rising to the role of National Director, where he managed $7 billion in long-term investments and oversaw the disposal of 21,000 REO properties. He also worked at Freddie Mac, where he reduced credit losses and helped grow business opportunities in underserved markets.
A former professional football player, Donald remains actively involved with the NFL Alumni Association and serves on various trade groups, including the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. He is also a dedicated member of Friendship Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA, where he teaches a marriage class.
Donald holds a BBA from Northwood University and currently serves as Senior Advisor at Stewardship Realty.
